The Warm Up

Before embarking on any form of physical exercise be sure to warm up correctly to reduce the risk of injury. The warm up should start gradually and build up. Start with simple exercises working from the top of your body down.

A proper warm up should raise your heart beat, get your blood pumping faster and leave you feeling warmer than when you started.

IMPORTANT – if you are breathing heavily at this stage you have done too much.
